Building Description
Originally a publishing house Butterick Building is now one of the most exclusive loft buildings in Toronto. The exterior with simple red brick facades and large windows does not stand out amongst the other buildings around. It is the interiors that draw so much attention to the Butterick Building. The six-storey high building has only 11 units each floor having only a maximum of two units. This creates some of the largest Toronto Loft available in downtown. Units range from 1,500 to over 5,000 square feet, features like double doors and large bedrooms and bathrooms make all 11 units feel enormous. Each unit has original features present like exposed brick and wooden beams, floors and ceilings. Many of the units are unique with their own personality due to the units being sold as blank slates to the original buyers. Each unit has a direct elevator access to their units, a feature that is incredibly rare compared to other Toronto Loft. The Butterick Building is situated in Toronto’s downtown core in Kings West. The area has a plethora of great restaurants, shops and green spaces all within walking distance. Butterick Building is also located a quick walk away from Lake Ontario and all the amenities of Toronto’s waterfront. This central location also make transportation easy for residences. The University-Spadina Subway is within walking distance as well bus and streetcars. Additionally, the Gardiner Expressway is only minutes away to quickly connect to the rest of the city by car.
