Building Description
Del Prado is one of the best Vancouver Lofts on the market and has received awards such as the 1996 Heritage Award of Honour for a reason. The six-storey building was originally constructed in 1912 as a warehouse, it is now home to 30 gorgeous lofts. The concrete and brick building received many facelifts during the conversion process. Del Prado is now painted black which combined with the large European windows creates a uniquely modern look for a historical building. The interior of the building was given an even more major facelift during the conversion. Each of the 30 units is beautifully designed and features incredible finishes throughout. Thick beech wood flooring contrast the stainless steel countertops creating contemporary environments that are equally gorgeous as they are cozy. The large European windows flood the open concept units with tons of natural light. Granite finishes in the bathrooms complete the upscale feel of Del Prado’s units. Residents also have access to a rooftop terrace that boasts amazing views of Vancouver’s skyline. Del Prado is found in a fantastic and vibrant neighbourhood known as {Yaletown] just steps from downtown. The neighbourhood is full of historic buildings, and this has brought an artistic crowd to the area, tons of art galleries are all around Del Prado. There are tons of great restaurants and cafes within walking distance as well. When it comes to transportation Del Prado is positioned amazingly. The Yaletown-Roundhouse subway station is right around the corner. There are tons of bus stops all around as well. For those who prefer to drive Highway 99 is only a few blocks away.
