Building Description
Nursing Lofts gets its name from the buildings previous use as Ontario’s Nursing Association. Since 1996 the building has been used as historical residential lofts. The building itself is quite modest. The four-storey rectangular building is simple red brick with tons of large windows and Juliet balconies. Nursing Lofts is home to only 20 units this ensures that each unit feels spacious. The units range from around 450 to 1,500 square feet. Each suite is designed with an open concept layout and spans two levels a rare find compared to other Toronto Lofts. Every loft also features 9-foot ceilings, and some lucky units receive additional light and warmth from skylights and a fireplace. Nursing Lofts is in the centre of Rosedale one of the most sought out and exclusive neighbourhoods in the city. Nursing Lofts is right beside Toronto’s Lawn and Tennis Club showcasing the affluent manner of the neighbourhood. Said club is far from the only greenspaces nearby. Rosedale is known for its many parks and ravines that winds through the neighbourhood. Just around the corner is Yongue Street with all the shops, restaurants and bars it has to offer. The location of Nursing Lofts regarding Younge Street makes transportation a breeze. Rosedale subway station is just a short walk away and can be used to quickly get into downtown. Yonge and Avenue Road are also great arteries to get either downtown or north to the 401.
