Sanctuary Lofts is one of the most recent Toronto Loft completed. This old church conversion has done well to preserve the original structure of the building while making it a highly desired livable space. The red brick exterior with its high slanted roof and square turret are highlighted by stone detailing all around the building. Tones of windows along with a concrete addition on the back have been added to the building to make the units more comfortable to live in. Sanctuary Lofts has twelve units ranging between 600 and 1,750 square feet. Units are either two or three storeys with skylights raining down natural light into the homes. While the exterior was preserved the majority of the interior was brought up to modern classifications with brand new kitchens and bathrooms that feature elegant finishes and ceilings nine feet high. Sanctuary Lofts are located in Dovercourt Park, an up-and-coming neighbourhood known for its quieter friendly vibes thanks to being removed from the downtown core. Even though its not downtown there are still plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops and bars in the local area to keep anyone entertained for a long time. Some of the greatest parks in the city including High Park, Christie Pits and Dufferin Grove are a close by and easy to access. For transportation needs Sanctuary Lofts is ideally located. Just south of the lofts will get residents to Dufferin subway station where passengers can connect to the rest of the TTC network. The area is also great for walking and biking thanks to the slower and less populated residential streets. Drivers living at Sanctuary Lofts are also in luck since there are multiple major roads that can quickly get drivers around the city.
